The Competition was organized for independent designer teams and small innovative companies, as well as successful companies seeking to create and launch high-tech products. New Tech Services specialists will sit on the jury panel together with the representatives of other major Competition partner companies. The shortlisted participants will receive support to their projects both from the Skolkovo Foundation and Competition partners. The Skolkovo support package will also include financial contribution: the winners in the Competition nominations will be entitled to up RUR5 million grants without an obligatory precondition of securing external investment. Note: The Skolkovo Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by the Russian government with the aim of supporting the creation and development of the Skolkovo Innovation Center. The mission of the Skolkovo Foundation is to create a special environment that would encourage innovative processes: researchers, designers, engineers, and businessmen are expected to join forces with the members of educational programs to develop world-class high-tech innovative projects in five priority areas: energy efficiency and energy saving, nuclear technologies, space technologies and telecommunications, biomedical technologies, strategic computer technologies and software.
