NewTech Services took part in the exhibition organized by the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE), the 8th International Geological and Geophysical Conference and Exhibition "St. Petersburg 2018. Innovations in Geosciences - Opening Times" . EAGE conference and exhibition was held in St. Petersburg from the 09th-12th of April 2018.

NewTech Services expert Anatoly Cherepovsky attended the scientific program that consisted of presentations and seminars covering the whole range of geological and geophysical disciplines. Anatoly made a presentation: "New hardware and field techniques for improving the quality of land seismic data". In his report Anatoly has shown the ways of improving the quality of recorded seismic data by using buried receivers. This approach is well-known for field geophysicists, but it is almost never used because of the absence of technological tools for manual or automated burying of geophones. The outlooks for adaptation of autonomous NRU nodes in Russia have been considered.

NewTech Services stand hosted guests and participants of the event with expert advice on the latest technologies in cableless seismic equipment, advantages of seismic data recording using buried receivers, as well as on other services and products offered by NewTech Services.
