December 19, 2017, Anatoly Cherepovsky, expert in seismic exploration NewTech Services took part in the 79th session of the weekly seminar "Problems of modern geophysics." The seminar was organized by the Department of Seismometry and Geoacoustics of the Geological Faculty of the Moscow State University named after Lomonosov.

Anatoly made a presentation "Cableless seismic equipment and buried receivers." The emphasis was on the advantages of NuSeis next generation seismic technology NRU - Autonomous, continuous recording seismic node, which improve the quality of recorded seismic data due to better ground contact. Also Anatoly discussed the prospects for mechanization and automation of field work with the help of wheeled and caterpillar "automators" designed and manufactured by GTI, NewTech Services is the exclusive distributor of their equipment in Russia and the CIS.

Professor Mikhail Vladov, head of the department of Seismometry and Geoacoustics of the Geological Faculty of the Moscow State University thanked Anatoly Cherepovsky for an interesting presentation revealing the trends in the seismic industry and the prospects for switching to wireless equipment in Russia soon.
